Yesterday, the Shriyai Digital team took a refreshing break from our office walls to create new memories and experience the magnificent House of Digital Art. This innovative establishment is Mauritius’ premier venue devoted exclusively to digital art, boasting an impressive 600m² of interactive and immersive art experiences.

Nestled in the heart of Port Louis, within EDITH , 6 Edith Cavell Court, the House of Digital Art serves as a collaborative platform for artists. It redefines the way art is consumed by the public by providing a truly unique immersive encounter that marries tradition with technology.

One of our bright young designers at Shriyai Digital, Rhadika Dursun, found the visit particularly inspiring. She shares, “As a designer, I’m passionate about assembling illustrations, images, and typography to create designs that are not only visually appealing but also accessible and memorable. The House of Digital Art was a trove of inspiration for me.”

Rhadika continues, “The serene ambience of the venue, complemented by emotive music and captivating voices, was incredibly soothing. The interactive graphics, the imaginative use of materials for lighting and design, and the transformative power of simple elements like LED lights and wall paint, all culminated in creating a mesmerizing immersive world.”

She concluded, “For me, the House of Digital Art was a testament to the dynamic intersection of art, technology, design, and society, manifesting in the creation of something truly extraordinary.”

Post our engaging visit to the House of Digital Art, the Shriyai Digital team decided to treat our taste buds at the renowned Labourdonnais Hotel in Port Louis. Here, we relished the delectable offerings of the Brasserie Chic’s new menu, exchanging stories and laughter over the sumptuous meal.

The day concluded with a leisurely stroll around Port Louis, basking in the city’s rich history and vibrant culture. As we journeyed back home, we carried with us not only a memorable day but also a renewed sense of inspiration and creativity, ready to infuse into our work at Shriyai Digital.
